This coconut lime body scrub is the easiest and cheapest do-it-yourself gift that you can possibly make for a friend or even yourself. You are literally gifting the gift of soft and youthful skin.
This DIY is broken up into three parts. This is an attempt to make it easier for you to follow along. First, you will prepare and make the jar. Then, you will make the scrub to place into the jar. Lastly, you will have the option of printing a free gift tag and placing it around the lid of the jar.
PART 1: The Jar
Materials:
1. Scrap Paper with a Design of Your Choice
2. Pen
3. Elmer's Glue
4. Scissors
5. Any Empty Jar
Steps:
Step 1:
Gather all of the materials
Step 2:
Peel the label off the jar.
Tip: Place the jar in a bowl of water overnight. This will make it easier to peel the stubborn label off.
Step 3:
Sanitize the jar and lid by running it through the dishwasher.
Step 4:
Completely dry the jar and lid
Step 5:
Get the scrap paper, lid and pen ready
Step 6:
Flip the scrap paper over
Step 7:
Using the pen, trace the lid onto the paper
Step 8:
Cut the lid shape out
Step 9:
Drizzle a small amount of Elmer's Glue directly onto the lid
Step 10:
Using the paintbrush, evenly brush out the glue
Optional (But Highly Recommended) Step:
If you want the paper to permanently stick onto the lid, dab a tiny bit of E6000 glue onto the lid. Do this step after brushing on the Elmer's glue.
Step 11:
Place the lid paper cut-out onto the lid
Step 12:
Drizzle Elmer's Glue directly onto the paper
Step 13:
Using the paintbrush, evenly brush out the glue
This is how the final jar should look.

Materials:
